The Los Angeles Clippers have extended Blake Griffin's contract to a 5 year extension that could be worth up to $95 million.

Salary cap and luxury tax announced for 2013-2014 season

The NBA announced that the salary cap will remain at $58.044 million and the luxury tax threshold will be $70.307 million. The salary cap has been $58.044 million for the past 2 years. Any team who's salary passes the limit will have to pay $1 tax for ever dollar they pass the limit.

Where will Hill land?

39 year old free agent Grant Hill is meeting with the Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers throughout the week. He will be playing for one of these 3 teams next season but he still hasn't decided which.

Veteran Rashard Lewis is heading to South Beach

Rashard Lewis decides to sign with the Miami Heat. They agreed to the veteran minimum of 1.3 million for the 2013-2014 season. This will add yet another shooter to the the Miami Heat roster.

Tim Duncan will remain a Spur

Tim Duncan agrees to a 3 year deal with the San Antonio Spurs. Many say the contract will be about $36 million. Tim always says the he will be  "a spur for life''.
